Sports have played a major role in Cori’s life from a very young age. Aside from playing your typical run around as a child, Cori found competitive volleyball at the age of 10. From 10 years of age she traveled the country playing as a libero on the top teams in Texas eventually leading her in to the Junior Olympics and a scholarship to Texas State University. Upon arrival as a collegiate athlete Cori then helped lead her team in the weight room breaking records, and earning a conference title championship in 2013. After volleyball came to an end Cori was introduced to Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit. For the rest of her time in college Cori became the Vice President of the Olympic Weightlifting club at the university and assisted in getting the team to compete in New Orleans, LA at the University Championships. In addition to competing in Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit, Cori has competed in an NFF bikini competition and intends to do more in the near future as a figure competitor.
Cori graduated Cum Laud with an Exercise Sports Science degree from Texas Sate University in the fall of 2017. Although she has taken her studies in to the sales world, she still enjoys helping beginners become affluent in the sport of CrossFit, and pushing the “pros” to be even better.
